The VNCA and AVNAT Registration Scheme invite applications for a range of membership categories and/or registration classes on offer. From 18 March 2019, options have changed to include AVNAT - please read the following information carefully before proceeding.

Please note that from 1 July 2019, the VNCA membership and AVNAT annual cycles are being aligned - when you join or renew during the year you will be financial until 30 June 2020.  The VNCA Board of Directors has opted to align everyone's renewal dates to make it easier for those who wish to add AVNAT registration or listing at a later stage.

If you are applying for the AVNAT Registration Scheme you can find detailed information at:  https://www.vnca.asn.au/avnat-registration-scheme-/apply-now/  PLEASE NOTE that applications cannot be processed unless all relevant information is provided - take the time to read through the information carefully and make sure you have all your documents ready to upload. 

If you are currently a financial VNCA member wishing to upgrade to include AVNAT:

• Select the relevant category below: 
  • Qualified veterinary nurses and veterinary technicians should select 'VNCA Full membership + AVNAT'
  • Individuals studying towards becoming a veterinary nurse or veterinary technician should select 'VNCA Student membership + AVNAT'
• Complete the online form, including uploading all information as required
• When you reach the payment options, select Cheque/EFT 
• You will receive an automated email acknowledging your transaction - do not pay the attached invoice.

The VNCA National Office will calculate your fee, taking into account the need to align your membership cycle with the AVNAT cycle of 1 July to 30 June, and forward your revised invoice. Once payment is processed, your application will be considered.

What else do you need to know?

• If you apply online, you will receive an automated email acknowledgement
• If you apply for VNCA membership only, applications take 2-3 business days once we have all required information and payment has been received
• Applications which include the AVNAT Registration Scheme will be acknowledged within 2-3 business days, however the average processing time is 10 business days. We will contact you by email if we need more information or if your application will take longer to process
• If you wish to apply for two classes under the AVNAT Registration Scheme, you cannot use the online form - see below to download a paper form
• Ensure each file you are uploading is smaller than 500kb and in PDF, JPEG/JPG, PNG or DOC format - you can use a free tool such as https://smallpdf.com/compress-pdf to compress files. Please note your internet connection and speed may impact on your ability to upload documents successfully
• Clinic discount of 10% or more applies to VNCA membership (NOT AVNAT registration fees) where 3 or more team members join / renew at the same time - email the VNCA National Office for more information.
