Join AHPRA registered Physiotherapist Meagan Lamming for a fun evening of physiotherapy with animals.

Join AHPRA registered Physiotherapist Meagan Lamming for a fun evening of physiotherapy with animals. Learn the difference between physiotherapy and rehabilitation, what a physiotherapy assessment looks like, and the types of treatment techniques a physiotherapist might use and why. See through case studies how treatments progress and learn how to identify who might benefit from seeing a physiotherapist.

Presenter: Megan Lamming

Meagan is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist with qualifications in both human and animal physiotherapy. She is passionate about helping animals of all species receive allied healthcare equivalent to that of the human world. Meagan is a manual therapist and has a deep respect for the body’s innate ability to heal and know what it needs to facilitate healing. She prefers techniques that are gentle and indirect, working with whole body systems. Meagan has worked in rehab in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, palliative care and in private practice, primarily with older clients with multiple chronic issues. Small animals are now 80% of her private practice work and she consults at Pets and Their People (Fulham Gardens). Meagan has always enjoyed working within a multidisciplinary team and looks forward to the day that multidisciplinary teams are easily.
